Kebbi State, Nigeria
Sugarcane and cassava to ethanol, jet fuel and cogeneration
The Kebbi Biofuel Project is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) consisting of 3D Hitech, the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), and the Government of Kebbi State. It aims to convert sugarcane and cassava into ethanol, jet fuel, and cogeneration products. The project includes the development of a 17,000-hectare cassava plantation and a 25,000 hectare sugarcane plantation and production facility. 3D Hitech is the core investor and will produce biofuels for NNPC’s Automotive Biofuel Program, handling capital investment and operations management.
